SIERRA DE GRAZALEMA NATURAL PARK

SIERRA DE GRAZALEMA NATURAL PARK
Declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, it is located in the northeast of the province of Cadiz and northwest of Malaga. It is a Special Protection Area for Birds, covering an area of 53,500 ha and is identified as one of the areas of greatest ecological value in the south of the peninsula. It is the most important western massif of the Subbetic mountain ranges.

Due to the intense rains and its limestone nature, a karst landscape rich in steep cores, caves, grottos and impressive gorges has originated. The Sierra del Pinsapar is its bastion.

An environment that will captivate you when you enter its most winding hiding places. From Sierra Blanquilla, a slope of Cortes de la Frontera and one of our favorite routes, we can observe the magnitude of this park and even the Moroccan coast. These are views that you will not forget.
