The Alcornocales Natural Park has more than 160,000 hectares of land, straddling the provinces of Malaga and Cadiz and has the largest mass of cork oaks in the world.
It is one of the most important protected areas in Andalusia, becoming the third largest park in this community, extending to the vicinity of Gibraltar.
Inside it is the Cortes de la Frontera Natural Hunting Reserve, offering a great opportunity to see a multitude of wild animals in the wild, such as deer, wild boar, fallow deer, as well as a great variety of wild birds. The Griffon Vulture is the king of the heights in this beautiful place, having as a reference point for this the famous natural monument of the Buitreras Canyon.
An ideal place for hiking.
